  • AILEEN HALE

    Aileen is a global education consultant with expertise in English Language Teacher Training; ESL Methodology; Service-Learning; Curriculum Development; and Customized International Travel. She has taught ESL/EFL for 30+ years and trained teachers in Albania, Belize, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Indonesia, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, S. Korea, and the United States. As well as a language teacher, Aileen is a learner and has become bilingual in Spanish and speaks conversational French and Romanian. She is passionate about learning and teaching languages and cultures and building connections for mutually beneficial impact.

  • MELANIE GOBERT

    Dr Melanie Gobert began her career in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, near Burundi and Rwanda, where she taught English as a Foreign Language. She began teaching English as a Second Language in Saudi Arabia in 1993 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she trained allied health professionals to work in the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center as cardiac technologists. In 2001, she moved to the United Arab Emirates where she worked as an English Language Teacher and Educational Technologist teaching Emirati men and women in undergraduate programs including Engineering, Business, Health Sciences, Applied Media, and Education. She has done teacher training throughout the Persian Gulf region, Africa, and Asia.

  • SUMITHRA RAVISUNDER

    Sumithra has 15 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, and Operations. She holds an MBA and a CFA Level III. She is an experienced Finance professional with extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in the Hi-tech industry. Sumithra specializes in providing Financial Business Partnerships to the )(-level (c) in the Hi-tech industry- Helping organization and senior executives in terms of change, which in turn helps them deliver on their financial commitments. As a next step, she is looking forward to establishing a financial cadence around budgets, and financial reporting.

  • BETH TRUDELL

    Beth was an English Language Fellow in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, where she was a member of the team that designed the country’s first M.Ed. in English for TESOL. She was an English Language Specialist in Tanzania, China, Thailand, Russia, and other countries. After completing her assignments, Beth has worked as an English Language Specialist and has continued her relationship with various universities as a consultant.

    She has an MA in English for TESOL from California State University. During her graduate work, she specialized in academic writing. Beth has an MA in English for TESOL, where she specialized in teaching academic writing.

  • PETER EDWARDS

    Originally from Washington D.C., received his MA in Literature from UC Berkeley and his PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Nottingham, in England. He began his career in Poland and spent 23 years teaching and researching in Korea and Japan. Classroom Dynamics, Willingness to Communicate, Gamification, and Global Citizenship hold some of Peter’s current focus. His worked as an English Specialist through the U.S. Embassy includes Facebook Live Webinars and a consulting post in Cali, Colombia.

    He also consults with education programs in Kenya and Rwanda.

    Peter currently lectures at the English Language Department of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

  • MARTIN NJERU MBOGO

    A Tech-savvy education enthusiast, dedicated to revolutionizing the future of learning. Driven by a passion for teacher capacity development, Martin believes in the power of digital and online platforms to transform remote and virtual classrooms. He has put much of his time and effort into these endeavors in recent years. As an Education Advisor on Online Learning and Design at an International Non-Governmental Organization (VVOB in Kenya), he provides advisory on implementing blended learning and training for school leaders to build their capacity in managing the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) roll-out in their schools.

  • DANIELA HASA

    Dr. Daniela Hasa is a full-time lecturer at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana. She is presently teaching Discourse Analysis, Varieties of English Language, Introduction into Linguistics for Bachelor students and Integration of Technology into English Language Teaching to Master students, who are also considered pre-service English teachers. She is keen on introducing innovative teaching methods and targeting the improvements of those students’ skills that are regarded as 21st Century Skills. She has successfully completed several online courses in the context of her professional development, which has directly impacted her teaching and learning strategies and instructions. Some of these courses comprise the E-learning programme provided by the American English Institute and, lately, TESOL-managed courses.

  • ROBIN MILLER

    Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Robin Miller began her career teaching university, K-12, and adult education students from more than 100 countries in Maryland and Virginia, and went on to work with students and teachers in Mexico, China, Kyrgyzstan, Israel, and most recently, throughout Russia as a US Department of State Virtual Educator in her 30+ years of teaching. Her specialties include teaching and training in Academic Reading and Writing, as well as in Speaking. As a teacher-trainer for the Open Society Institute, she directed an international summer writing program, and developed and implemented an Academic Writing Program in Kyrgyzstan. She also won numerous US Embassy grants to run programs to improve the proficiency of young professionals in Jerusalem. She believes in creating authentic language experiences for learners and eschews using formalized textbooks, as well as in tailoring language programs to fit the specific needs of each group of learners.
