The Memories & Dreams: Honoring your Past-Designing your Future curriculum focuses on processing past memories, with the intention of taking proactive steps towards designing one’s future. This PD course has been created to equip teachers to lead process-oriented learning experiences with their students. It includes special sections devoted to helping teachers successfully facilitate the curriculum. It also includes additional ways to “shelter instruction” for English language learners (ELLs).Each session includes strategies for guiding students through a learning process and provides helpful tips to help ensure student success. Being a process-oriented learning experience, the lessons build upon one another.
